Talent Show Auditions
You’re invited to Audition for…
St. Luke Spring Talent Show

Who can audition?
Students in K through 8th grade.
What can we do?
We’re looking for acts of all talents: singing, skits, dancing, comedy, instrument performances, poetry readings, karate demonstrations, puppet shows, magic… all other acts must be cleared with the fine arts team prior to auditions. Singing performers must use a karaoke version (no recorded singing).
**All performances must be no longer than four minutes**
When are the auditions?
The auditions will be held 5/15-5/18 Sign-up for audition times will be posted immediately. K-2 students will audition during their music and gym times. This allows those students who are not chosen for the talent show to perform for their classmates.
What else should I know?
Each performance will get one audition a piece – there will be no second chance auditions. You should come to the audition with your performance MEMORIZED by the audition date. Skits not memorized will not be considered for the talent show.
When is the dress rehearsal?
All students that are selected to perform in the talent show will be notified no later than 5/18/12. The dress rehearsal for the will be on 5/21/12 from 3:00-4:30pm in the gym. The dress rehearsal is mandatory for all acts chosen to perform! Costumes must be approved at the dress rehearsal so come dressed as you would for the talent show.

Question of the Week- Bonus Opportunity!
Don't forget to visit the Question of the Week tab and answer the question for bonus points. Answers must be in the Challenge Spot box in the music room by the end of the day each Monday to be considered for points. Please remember to put you name and class on the paper with your answer! Each correct response (one per week) is worth 3 bonus points.
